ford 755 backhoe attachment lever bushing

Hi All I am redoing the lever bushings on the new to me backhoe.The lever bushings are plastic 1/2 " id 5/8" od and about an 1 1/2 long
What does everyone here use...I could buy some 5/8 round and drill them out but there has to be an easier way

Not sure what you want to use for new bushings, but if wanting a plastic, 1/2” CPVC pipe is about as close as you will find cheaply. I have no ideal how it would hold up under your application, but at under $5 for a 10 ft stick of pipe at most any big box store, you would have a long time supply of bushings. One caution which will be minimum in the bushings but big on storage, the pipe is not UV protected.
Painting is an option if the bushing is exposed.

These are the levers that control the backhoe function, so I am thinking nylon or delrin etc.I believe they were nylon new. I found a 5 ft stick of 1/2 " id and 5/8" od, but the shipping was four times the value of the bushing stock!
