Soundguy thanks for the info. I think that this tractor is 54 or 55 model, by the hood emblem. I was told by a ford expert (the old man that lives down the road) that the 53 model that jubilee on the emblem and 54 and 55 just hard stars. It starts and runs strong, but the seat is hard on my back.

If it's a 55.. its a 600 series.. not a NAA... NAA were only made in the very end of 52, and then 53 and then 54.

As Jim said.. if ya got axle leaks you will be pulling them to plop new seals in the trumpets. Should have 2 a side.

NAA's are easy to distinguish from other Fords when you know what to look for. They are the only Fords with a splined rear hub and large nut at the outer end of the axle shaft (like an 8N) AND overhead valve 4 cylinder engine.
