Big article on the front page of the local rag this morning about GM and Stellantis stacking up unfinished vehicles everywhere. I just wonder when the automakers will have enough and start layoff's.

I walked through a Home Depot the other day and almost fell over. $7.49 for a standard grade 8' 2 x 4. I can see the construction boom we have today coming to a crashing halt due to material prices.

Good price. 10 bucks a stick here at the local lumber yard.

Local Ford stealership lot is almost empty, no trucks whatsoever. Maybe 35-40 cars.
Service going like gangbusters. My Ford diesel tech buddy has been worked to death, says trucks are going un-repaired now. Says dealer service is blaming unavailability of parts.

You might be farther ahead buying the recycled non wood decking considering what wood costs.

Ahhhh, isnt it great? inflation is in full vertical trajectory, interest rates nudging upwards, more "common sense gun restrictions" in the pipeline, teachers union and woke culture runs the country and big tech has us by the shorts!
