I have spent 3 of the last 5 weeks in Canada. I can tell you they don't want the ones threatening to move up there either. The will build a wall quicker than the wall will be built between the US and Mexico.

I am currently shopping new trucks.

Drove the ram 3500 the other day and liked it. Disliked how it rode, wow how can a truck in 2016 have a worse ride then a 95 F350? I really loved the value, huge discounts on now and 84 month 0% interest financing.

Well today I drove a Chevy. Wow wow wow. It is hard to wipe the smile off of my face. So smooth and just plain nice! And the power. I do understand the difference between an inline six and a V8, but this had so much more jam.

And ford. I am looking at a mid level cloth truck, and all the 2016 ones spear gone so I either need to raise or lower my trim desire or wait until the 2017 redesign comes out.

The problem with A B C test drives are the dealers. They fail to prep the trucks, so you drive brand A and it was serviced and has proper air pressure in the tires, brand B is set 20 pounds high from the assembly, so you vote for brand A. The other issue is drive-ability, with engine and transmission controls set up to be adaptive, the vehicles don't smooth out till after around 500 miles or so. There is a noticeable ride difference on my 3500 RAM when the rear tires are set from load hauling 80 PSI to 60 PSI.

Enough kidding around, will the real presidential candidates please step out.

I've been driving the F550 (2014) at work this week. Unloaded, that is one rough riding SOB. I'm sure any of the SRW trucks you look at would feel smooth after driving the f550.

Well, I haven't posted in a while, as I have been busy with work and the upcoming long weekend. Hoping to be able to go look at the fords soon and then decide on a path forward. The good news is That the wife wants me to have a new truck even more then I do.

As you previously stated, ride is important to you because you don't plan to work the truck hard. I get that.

My 2000 Power Stroke Super Duty is just the opposite. I work it almost every day. I expect it to handle that load and it does. I could care less about the ride. But yet, it rides exceptionally well. I'm the winner.
