I thought the Ram just had big change made in their suspension on heavy duty trucks, supposed to "ride like a car".
It will be interesting to see and drive the 2017 Ford Super Duty, it may out ride them all, but sure to be $$.
Love the way my 2016 Ram 2500 rides of course its a truck not a lincoln.LOL

That video has already been discussed to death in another thread

1985 and 1991 here... will keep running them as long as possible.

They both take 235-15 tires that are NOW special order because I guess trucks have not taken this size for a long time... just shows how out of date I am when the most popular truck tire is now special order or a non-stock item.

I think mine are 285/75/16. Two years ago they were in stock, I guess I lucked out. :D

It's the 15" truck tires that are becoming a rarity...

The brakes are much larger so small wheels won't even clear them.

I just wonder where all the trucks, vans, suv's with 15" rims have gone?

It can't be that I have a couple of the last remaining ones left?

May not be the case for everybody, but I've had much better luck buying models that are at the end of a production run than one that is all new. Reason being it takes companies a while to sort out any issues whenever they make changes. IE: Had a 2006 Chev and had amazing luck with it, and waited until there was a new body style coming out and did the same thing again, bought a 2014 2500HD rather than a new body style 2015 that has the exact same frame and driveline anyways. Haven't had any issues with this truck yet, no squeaks or rattles, all the issues have been sorted out since it was the same body since 2007 basically. Also buying the first of a new body or driveline, you are basically the companies testers, and rarely do they get things right first try on everything. I had an 02 2500HD and it was no where near as good as the 06 despite being basically the same model. You can save a lot of money buying a model that's got an update coming out soon too, dealerships want them gone before the new ones arrive, good luck getting the same deal on a brand new body style.

In the case of the Ford, it's not really all new. The frame and body are different, but the 6.7L engine and tranny have been around for a while now. Sure, they're saying the power will be bumped a bit higher for 2017, but that's common.

I gave up on GM long ago. I paid a premium for a Duramax dually and it overheated fro day one. Onto GM truck forum all Duramax guys were complaint and a lot called GM to complain, so I also called GM. The lady on the phone tells me " wow sorry to hear about that no one else has called us about this issue" Took it in to the dealer and the shop foreman comes out and tells me the overheating IS NORMAL and within spec. I got rid of that pice of junk the next day and won't even step foot on a GM lot.
