This is Billy at a dog show last year.

This one is Windy, being handled by my wife. Windy finished her championship at the age of 17 months. She will be 2 years old on July 24 and is a littermate to Billy.

We show all 4 of our guys, 3 out of have won their championship (Billy only needs a 3 point major win to finish his championship). The older two guys Avalanche and Blizzard have Obedience, Water Rescue and Draft titles. The young guys Billy and Windy are working towards Obedience, Water Rescue and Draft titles.
When not being shown they hang out at the farm in Maryland usually down at the stream.
Now if I could only get them to eat enough grass so I wouldn’t have to cut 7 Acres. But if they did that the wife would make me get rid of the BX2200.

Your newfies are very nice. My wife and I always watch the major dog show at the MSG (westminster) and alway cheer for the working group. Newfies are gentle giants.

Here is my older girl Blizzard actually working/having fun hitched to a competition cart. We take her down to the mailbox almost every day to bring back the mail and newspaper. She loves to work and will drive you crazy untill she does her job. During the fall and winterwe often hitch the two old big guys up to a large cart and they help drag firewood up to the house or or of the woods after it's been cut and split.

Yes, Bailey is small. Weighs about 5 pounds. Her favorite sleeping spot is on my or the wife's shoulder, wrapped around our neck. Let's see someone do that with their lab! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

The other funny thing is that when we call her, we yell Hey, Bales! She is a sweetheart, though! /w3tcompact/icons/love.gif

Well, I guess since our dogs are such a big part of our lives, I should post their pictures too.

This is our first one. Gizmo. He's 9 years old. We've had him since our college days. He was the runt of the litter and the lady we bought him from tried to get rid of him because she thought he would die. He has outlived every one from his litter and is still going strong. He had to have knee surgery last fall and now he thinks he is a new pup. He is definitely the boss around our place.
