Where is the best place to order quick disconnect forks ? Everyplace I look they r 800 wondering if I should just buy clamp ons but in the long run I am sure I would not be as happy

IMO buy the Q/A forks. But it depends what your lifting plans are. I lift 2500lb pallets of wood. Clamp on wouldn't have worked well.

If you need SSQA (skid steer quick attach) style, look on Craigslist...I see them all the time for $500

it also depends on the tractors lift capacity. My Kioti has a breakout force of 3,700 and a lift capacity of about 2,800#, so i needed a set of forks rated at least that.

I bought a set of "Quick Attach" brand QA forks, 42" long that are rated at 4,500# . They cost $795.00, but i need to be sure that i can handle the heavier loads i move safely. No way bucket mounted fork attachment could handle these loads...the bucket would bend

Skid Steer Attachments Pallet Forks Hay Spears Bobcat Cat John Deere Mount Plate

Order one of these mounting plates. Then find someone with a broken down forklift and talk them out of the forks and mount. I have had 2 sets given to me, and did that with stouter forks than you pay $800 for. I had to burn both of them off but didn't take long. These mounting plates are a good deal with free shipping .I have a few rods and $109 in the forks. I will take some pics soon and post.

You don't say which brand of tractor you have, but if it is a Deere than you only have one
reasonable choice: Artillian Pallet Forks for John Deere Tractor Loaders

No interest, just a very happy customer.
Here is a pic of my lifted Bush Hog for deck cleaning and blade sharpening, using
Chris Perry's fork lift attachment.

I just bought a set from my Kubota dealer 3500 pound capacity for a bit over $600. They are a no name brand, but seem really well built.

Unfortunately my 5 yr old B7510 doesn't include the quick attachment on the FEL.
struggled with straps and a sluggish lift with leaky hydraulic reservoir. Green was the
obvious way to go. Though I still have the K Orange, Green Deere is the best USA
American way to buy!

Steve
