Foton 254 clutch failure?? Gulp!

What and how do you flush the tranny out? Is there some sort of oil you put in first than run it. Never had to do this before. Yeh the loader mount goes right over the inspection hole so I will put a gasket there. Of course, the inspection hole is on the opposite side of the clutch pedal.

Kerosene works good. Drain the gear oil, fill with kerosene and drive it around for a bit to work the kero all thru the gearbox and rinse the inside walls clean. Then drain it, and hopefully most of the contaminated gear oil residue out. Add fresh gear oil, any kero left over will eventually evaporate...

I've heard of diesel fuel, I got lots of that will that work and do I add till the full mark?

add some rubbing alcohol to that mix.. a bottle or 2 of 90% stuff.. it's a polar solvent and will disolve water ( which is polar )and carry it in soloution, vs just trying to dislodge it with diesel... or worse.. emulsifying it in the oil.. etc.. or trying to remove by lesser methods like carrying it out in mechanical suspension and hoping it all comes out during hte rush to drain...

Kero is better, because it's more volatile. That characteristic means any residual kero will evaporate faster than diesel fuel, and stand less of a chance of contaminating (thinning out) the gear oil. And no, go well over the fill mark unless you run the tractor over rugged ground. You want the kero to splash into all the corners and crevices that are above the normal gear oil line. Use fine screen or cheese cloth to strain the big chunks before they hit the drain pail. That way you can take what's drained into the pail, and pour it back in for a second flush.
