Foton: Instal an inline filter on hydrolics

The problem here Valley is you have a Foton and 95% of us here have Jinmas. I know you were told they were the same but that is not true. The Fotons are gaining popularity but there are not many of them out there yet. You really need to find some one who knows Fotons, hydraulics, or talk to a dealer who sells them. Detailed pictures may also help us figure it out.

Like Greg said many of these Chinese tractors share parts like pumps, valves, engines, ect. But I can tell you the way you describe yours its not like any Jinmas as far as the Hydro Plumbing.

Well I'm back. I have ISO 32 should I get AW 32?
Despite Bob's organizational ISO/AW explanation, the operational explanation is that ISO32 hydraulic fluid and AW32 hydraulic fluid are exactly the same thing. If you want to get technical about it, AW32 hydraulic fluid conforms to the ISO32 standard.

Just be careful not to get AW32 machine oil mixed up with AW32 hydraulic fluid.

Greetings, So I should have no worries with the ISO 32 Hydraulic oil that I have. I'm looking to find out if there was more than on GPM PUMP installed on Foton tractors, one that could not handle a FEL installed later. Thanks Richard

Not to belabor the issue but my Diverter/Divider has three outputs also. The flow in the steel line running down the left side of the transmission has several gallons a minute flow. This W.A.G is based on the flow for a couple of seconds passed the last thread or so on plug in a tap installed with a 10?? micron filter.

Should be, but
1. what model number is listed on the manufacturer's tag on the pump that supplies the loader?
2. is your model equipped with a separate pump for steering?
3. engine driven pump? or PTO driven pump? or both?

Harold, I'm not sure I understand that. I'll check my diverter tomorrow.

Greg, There is a single engine driven pump that drives the steering and the FEL also, the steering works fine. The PTO is not involved. I don't see a manufactuer's tag, I may have to remove it to find a number, I couldn't see one.

I suspect you have the dual capacity CBN-314L pump. If true, it's possible to buy a bolt-on upgrade. You might consider the high capacity CBN-314L that some of the 45hp tractors use, or the CBN-316 (higher flow rate).

Valley, there are 2 rubber hoses coming from the front/top of Diverter/Divider going directly across the tractor behind the engine..One connects to a steel pipe running back to the tank. The other goes into a box for the power steering(PS). A rubber hose also comes out of the PS box and connects to the steel return line. Note: all this is on a 200 series Jinma.

Harold, Greg, I'll check those things out. I changed the hydro.fluid today it looked very dark, the first owner said it was ATF. Refilled with hydraulic 32. I found the inlet for the suction was 1 1/2" form the top of the reservoir. It would seem that to fill the FEL it would draw down that much. Thats why he had it filled to the very brim. The hoses for the FEL are hooked to an auxillary hydraulic output on the right side next to the operators seat. The valve handle is wired back so the valve on the FEL can be used. Originally from the maker these lines attached up by the PV or dirverter, so I was told by a mechanic, he said he would Email pictures. I'ed like to put it back the way it came form the maker. I would like to take the FEL out line directly to the reservoir with a filter inline. What do you think? Richard
