I could not imagine why anyone would arrange the hydraulics as they are on this tractor. 3RRL had the answer:

"Normally the high pressure line always goes to the loader unless the tractor has stock rear remotes and normally does not come with a FEL." Thanks Rob The previous bought the loader and backhoe last year. After installing them he just hadn't brought the line directly form the pump, bringing it instead form the remote. He then wired the remote valve open so he could the FEL valve.

Two hoses came with the tractor. I'll see tomorrow if these were ment to connect the hydraulics to the FEL and back to the priority valve. I'm thinking the oil may warm sooner and the removal of the two hoses from the FEL to the remote valve will permit entry to the operators seat from the right side. Little by little!

Yea, this things hydros is a Frankenstein experiment. I like the welding job on that one hard line.

Chris, I've found a few more things that compare to the that oil line. Two oil lines came with the tractor, I think for hooking the hydraulics to the FEL but he sawed a fitting off the end of one. Today I installed a KATS block heater. Nice! Little by little.

Looks like you are getting a handle on it Richard.
Pretty soon, with your new suction filter installed, you will be up and running again.
I almost bought a Foton ... I wanted the Euroleopard model but they didn't have it available in the States at the time. It was a stylish good looking tractor with everything I wanted on it. I found the Kama later which fit the bill and I'm very happy with it.

chris, The tach was working but began to work intermittently. I used the adjustment you mentioned in this thread and it's up and running. Thanks

I'm going to move a car out and move some snow so I can park the tractor off the tarmack so as I work with the hydraulics it won't make a mess on the blacktop.

I suspect you have the dual capacity CBN-314L pump. If true, it's possible to buy a bolt-on upgrade. You might consider the high capacity CBN-314L that some of the 45hp tractors use, or the CBN-316 (higher flow rate).

Hi Greg, I am searching for a spare hydraulic pump on my jinma 454. On the pump is indicated this type CBN-E314, but on the internet I read that this pump is meant for lower hp models. That is why I'm interested in your explanation about 2 types of CBN-314L pumps. Do you know where I can find such a high capacity CBN-314L pump?
Thanks!
Koen

You are responding to a 2009 post but Greg is still around.

Any 314 pump has volumetric flow rate of 14ml/rev. To increase capacity you need to go with a 316, 318, or 320.
Tommy is showing a 320 pump upgrade here:
https://affordabletractorsalesco.co... Center&sub_category=Hydraulic Pumps&scid=143

The 320 is 20ml/rev which is almost 50% more flow than the 314. 3RRL upgraded his Kama to a 320 pump a few years back and reported good results.

Brad competently mentioned what you actually need to know to go shopping for a spare.. The two types of 314s I mentioned way back when actually had the same flow rate (capacity). My point actually related to whether or not it had an internal pressure relief valve (like the CBN06). Those used for steering had the valve, those used for general hydraulics didn't need it because of the PRV inside the hydraulic sump.

Hi Greg and Brad,
Thanks for your replies.
I had ordered a new pump CBN-E314 (for my jinma 454 with FEL), because this model number was indicated on the original pump.
By visiting several distributors and forums, watching the pictures, I think I will need the CBN-E314L instead of the CBN-E314. Could you confirm this?
This is a picture of the original pump on my tractor:

This corresponds more to the CBN-E314L like on this page: CBN-314L
than the CBN-E314 on this page:
CBN-E314-new style

Also, I find it very strange, that on all sites, they recommend this pomp for tractors from 18-35hp, while my jinma 454 tractor has 45hp.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Koen

Truthfully, I don't know why you're considering either 314. The higher capacity 316 (and larger) can typically be added with little or no modifications at all.
