Found a great use for pallet forks

I managed to move a huge stump using my grapple that I thought was too heavy for my fel to lift. I managed to move it very carefully but afterwards found the damage it did to my fel and grapple. Now to try to figure out the best way to repair it.

Yes, ouch, but you may be lucky the bucket isn't destroyed.

I thought Kubota was better engineered than this. That top brace that bent on the fel was only tack welded on with about a 9" tack in the middle and another tack on each side. This let the grapple mount twist and bend. I'm going to remove the grapple tomorrow and straighten out the top brace on the bucket and then weld it back all the way across. Then do my best to straighten out the grapple mount but I won't be able to take the twist out of it.

I fixed my bucket and grapple today. It is fully welded and a lot stronger than it was before. There is still a little twist in the grapple mount but it shouldn't bother anything. Before and after:
