I've got one of these going on the "Build-it-Yourself" forum. There are several problems with this design. Namely, his transmission and main rotor need to be at the center of gravity. His is too far aft. He's not going to have enough aft cyclic authority to get off the ground. Another problem with using the rear PTO for the transmission is you loose your PTO for other things. That is why I'm going with a mid-mount PTO transmission. I'm also going with coaxial rotors so I don't have to dedicate the 3pt to a tailboom and anti-torque rotor. What's the utility of having a flying tractor if you don't have a 3pt and PTO? May as well just be another helo sitting in the hangar (and I've got enough of those already).
