Found me a hunk of steel out in our shop

and I am thinking it would make a goo front weight if I can get it and maybe cut it down a little to make smaller weights
it is 3" x 1.5' x 2' best I can figure it should weigh a little over 360 lbs. That should help stop the wheel spin when I am pulling my box blade

that sounds like a chunk of steel! lots of weight for the box for sure.

Well we don't have anything to cut that....oh well a little more looking I fround some 2.5" x 4" ect 18" chunk of that should come in at about #50. Two of them will make a nice bumper

A friend of mine that works at a HYD shop made a bumper for their shop tractor out of scrap pieces of 2" hyd ram rod.. Made it look like a pipe bumper.. had like 4 horizontal bars of ram rod.. not sure what it weighed.. but that stuff is heavy...

This is what I did with the two chunks of steel I stumbled across.

I just welded them together then welded a tab out of 1/8th inch steel? On back. Then I welded large nut to the tab so it would stay in place.
