Freight and Assembly

Got a quote today on a Kabota B2601 with QA loader and bucket and 3rd function valve, Ballast Box, and 60" mid mount mower. Price was about 13% below MSRP on Kubota's website but dealer added in $1766 for Freight and Assembly. Is this normal, or just a way to get back a lot of the discount?

Ask him if you can take delivery of it un assembled?

I also got mine below MSRP and my dealer charged me $689 for freight/assembly/PDI. That is in Canadian funds so it would be like $46.00 US. LOL.

Don't feel bad. My tractor was put together but shipping was $10K. My Dealer did deliver for free...130 miles. If I wasn't willing to pay the freight, I would buy elsewhere or move.
