I remember the day when my delivery from Barlows in Ky and I was like a kid waiting for Christmas. I took pictures and put them on file of all of the serial #s to have for a reference. Enjoy the new toy.

Nice. I'm seriously jealous. I've been talking with Brady about buying the exact same tractor. I'm going to get the front mount snow blower for it though. I'm just waiting for the bank to do a refi on my house (the bank said a tractor loan wouldn't hurt me but I don't want find out differently) before I say OK. I really don't need the tractor till this fall but I can't wait that long. Seeing your pictures just makes the want that much more. Besides waiting just gives me more time to think of more attachments (thinking of a Herd sander), maybe a brush hog, and tiller.

Maybe you can answer a question for me (or maybe someone else). You said you got the -3 model, how far does the seat swivel? I'm think that would be real nice when using a rear attachment.

Cbeal, nice set up

Nice rock wall you have, you will find the grapple useful to fix the wall and it will save your back. I have a about 500 ft of rock wall myself and love the bucket but the grapple seems more appropriate for picking and moving bigger rocks. I wish I had one.

My dealer had just sold a -1 and was prepping a -2 but had 2 -3's still in the
crates so I decided the swivel seat and a few other things that I thought were
worth the extra $250 to go with the -3.

Yours looks great, I hope to have a grapple and BH by fall.

My L3940 is suppose to be here within 3 hours. I only opted for R4's(loaded)
a FEL, a tooth bar and a bale spear.

Congratulations on your new tractor; very nice looking setup and nice property. I have a Grand L30 Series and really like the upgrades/improvements on the 40 Series.

I think Barlows sells lower so their drivers can see all of our beautiful country. Drivers should pay them and I know Steve will agree.:thumbsup: Beautiful, well no I'm not going to say beautiful, AWESOME, is the more appropriate word.

Thank you for the comments. I got it a little dirty after work today playing with a couple blowdowns and rocks from an old wall. I learned I'll need practice with the grapple. The ground is still soft so it'll be awhile before going back.
Gyro you're right, the grapple would have been nice when I first did the stonewalls but I've got plenty more to rebuild.
Crazyal, the seat swivels 12 degrees which isn't a lot but it seems enough to help those with neck issues. I may get a rear mount blower when my plow truck calls it quits and will be glad the seat swivels at all.
Abeal, my user name is referring to a boat I had built which was designed by a boatbuilder from Beals Island, Maine. His name is Calvin.

CBeal34 sounds like you're about a week behind me frost wise. Still I'm sure you didn't mind getting a little mud on those ag tires. My driveway is almost 1/2 mile of twisty hilly road, no way I could do it with a rear blower. That grapple looks really nice but I have to draw the line somewhere. As it is I started out thinking a 7800 would be all I need and now I'm up to a 4240.
