Front brush guard mods

I finished mine today. I built mine with 3/8 X 2.5" flat and 3" channel. I added some other pieces to block sticks and roots during tree-tipping. The picture is with the hood because parts of the guard blend into the grill.

Looks real good on there. I would imagine that scrollwork might come out of there if a limb gets it good, but the overall guard looks tough. You might find later that you need some heavy screening across it all - I'm glad I had mine on there several times. That expanded metal is pretty tough but it bends and you have to straighten it out with a hammer real quick. I know it's saved my nose many times in the woods & clearing brush.
