Grands have a 4 stage curl/cump valve. Going from far left to far right... Curl, stop, regen dump, power dump. Economy machines only have a 3 stage valve & lack power dump. So going far right will make a Grand valve running a cylinder on a diverter run "correctly". Regardless of it being a single acting or double acting cylinder. But not with a valve on an economy machine. Those won't ever run a pair of single acting cylinders (well it will, but only in 1 direction).
I used mine briefly with a snowplow with 2 single acting cylinders, and it worked fine. Still does on the Grand L3130 that I sold with it to a friend. Both the old and new Grand L's work fine on the grapple with a double acting cyl for the lid, and I never push it to regen mode. Always the first stop. This is why I don't understand the problems some say they have with this???
