Front End Boom/Crane

   / Front End Boom/Crane #21
The last thing is stability. For lifting heavy stuff on and off trailers or pickups, I plan to put the loader on the ground and do the lifting with the cylinder. The B21 gets pretty wobbly with a weight hung out, either front on the loader, or back on the backhoe.

Thats a very real and good benefit of your design on a smaller machine. I didn't think of that.

I built one with 3/16" wall 2" x 4" steel tube 8' long and attached it to the SSQA plate. We test lifted my 6' box scraper which I think weighs around 350 lbs and was able to lift the attach point 18'-4". Loader was steady with my backhoe on the back and no indication of any side tipping. I'm happy.
