I just purchased a FEL for my ford 4000 a couple of weeks ago. The bucket is in need of some repair. I am thinking that if I cut off the front of the bucket, where the blade is, I maybe be able to convert the bucket into a clam shell. Other than some dents back of the bucket material is still pretty good shape.
Has any one done this or does anyone have some puctures of a clam shell bucket that they would post?
I want to see how the hydraulic cylinders are connected and the hinge for the front of the bucket.
