woohoo...finally a picture from Franz. That's exactly the way I was thinking of mounting mine...as the top ledge is just too narrow. Also , figured the edge had the most strength. So you just bolted them on and may tack them with a welder later. Now, I just need a picture from Jonathan to see how he did his. Thanks, Franz.

Pete, I put a receive in the center of my bucket, on the same plate that my hooks are on. I put it here because its easier to see and hook up and move my trailers around the yard. I have in the past just used chains, but thanks to Jerry's post Im moving my trailers in a fraction of the time.... Thanks Jerry! I also designed and built a light bar today, Im leery of posting it yet because I think I can market the idea first. (real neat idea from a peanut) Im might buy lights tomorrow and I think that I will put feed to the tractors EXISTING front lights on a seperate switch and just use them as secondary lighting or transporting. The reason is so that I wont tax my alternator with lights that arent really positioned high enough. I'll send pictiures soon. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I kinda liked that reciever idea as well...you could have different kinds of hooks, balls, etc. You are right on the lights...the current front lights are pretty useless with the loader. I believe the alternator is not undersized...so 4 55w lights probably are OK. I will probably do a light bar later in the summer...hoping to get my lights mounted on the inside of the ROP. You can go to extremes, like the poster in CA who put about $1000 into strobe lights for his tractor.

I am going to have to learn how to weld. I have been inspired by everyone here that builds their own stuff.

sassafras......
1. A deciduous eastern North American tree (Sassafras albidum) having irregularly lobed leaves and aromatic bark, leaves, and branches.
2. The dried root bark of this plant, used as a flavoring and a source of a volatile oil

Sassafras tea is the greatest /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
