Snow Front mount Kioti snow blower

Here is a side view of the subframe with the black pin that holds the front up.

Thanks for Pics K man, that definitely looks like more than a 1 man install. I think I'll stay with the rear mount until my neck can't take it anymore.

Yes it helps to have 2 this way one stays on the tractor and the other connects. Connecting is not that hard, like I mention there is only 2 inches to lift the subframe and line up the pin and can be done easily with a bar or small jack. I lifted it up by myself to put a piece 2x4 under it and I would say it probably weighs 200 lbs. Now the blower weighs about 1000 lbs and no need to lift it. I can use the hydraulics for that. Believe me when this blower is mounted and the ease of operation with the joystick and hydraulic shute still better than a rear one. No neck pains lol

Well that explains lol. I sure would like to see a pic of yours just to see how different it is. How old is your CK 27?

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger, the Kubota B-3000 has an undercarriage that the Front mount blower is attached to.... first couple of times it was a real hassle mounting it by myself. But it's well worth effort once it's mounted and up & running. Now it's a piece of cake to put on . :thumbsup:

Hi Kioti lovers. Do any of you have a front mounted snowblower on your Kioti CK series. I need to know. Do you find it difficult to attach? I mean do you do it in 2 pieces or one. Last year I took mine off and did it in one whole piece and had a heck of a time taking it off the tractor. I realized after that I should of taken the blower off first then the quick attach. Am I right or did I do it wrong. This year I had the dealer come out and put it on but I was not home when they came and now it is mounted on again Jeez. I wanted to be there to see how they did it lol. Any input on this would help me a lot cause I do things alone. Any suggestions

It's a heavy set up... But with weight comes reliability! It have never failed, but it's on the heavy side. I have a friend who combined in a late fall: oil change - maintenance - chain installation - front mounted snow blower on the same service call. Make sense to me.

Mine a pto driven Martin 54" snob lower, a real charm!

I do have a front mount blower (KS72-240FM) on my DK40SE HST tractor. The front mount blower, and its heavy front mount hitch with mid mount PTO drive, is the primary reason I bought the tractor. I'm now 72 years old , and had grown tired of plowing snow, or worse yet, using the rear mount 8' snowblower on my John Deere.

I have only removed the front mount assembly once, but had no particular trouble with the process. The mount is heavy, and I removed the thing on the concrete floor in my tractor shed. The manual is a little sketchy on photos, but easy to follow. After the snow blower is off, mount removal is easily accomplished, also by following the manual, which is separate from the blower manual. The remounting procedure is similarly easily followed, and only takes a little while.

A few short pieces of dimensioned hardwood, 2x4, 4x4, etc and a hydraulic pallet jack are handy to have, if you want to move the mount and/or the blower to the back corner of your garage for storage.

The Kioti snowblower is, I believe, made for Kioti by Normand of Canada. Mine has about fifty hours of use this year, about the same last year, and is a very user friendly, functional machine. The DK40's heated cab is very much appreciated. I'll be reminded again soon, as we are just in the start of another blizzard.
