I was searching the web for road maintenance ideas and came across a front-end attachmentb called the "Front Runner"

Road & Driveway Maintenance

It looks interesting enough, has anybody used one of these attachments and could vouch for their usefulness/durabilty?

Looks like a front mounted landscape rake to me. I would think a pull behind landscape rake would work as good or better. I actually use a landscape rake on my own gravel driveway and it works quite well.

I agree. I also use my box blade. Jay :)

Sorry to bump up an old thread, but I just purchased one of these. Slick rig, and faster than my tractor mounted rake. I've wanted one for a few years as I do a lot of road work and grading on small roads and driveways. Friend of mine has one and loves it, although, yes, it is hard on the front end. No more so than a snowplow, but does cause the truck to run through some ball joints.

I'll let you know how it works out in the long run.
