Kubota L4400 4wd w/LA 703 FEL
I've noticed that the front wheels on my L4400 4wd have a lot of positive camber. It seems like most tractors do, but I don't know why. It also does not appeat to be adjustable and seems to be set by the shape of the bevel gear. Can anyone explain why the extreme positive camber and if there is a way (or need) to adjust it on 4wd models.

Thanks.

I cannot explain it but I also have a lot camber on my L4300. The front tires show a wear pattern on the outside half in just a couple hundred hours. It appears that it is not adjustable on the four wheel drive models. When I first looked at mine I thought something was bent. But now I believe it is just the way they are.

I think it's intended to make the steering more accurate and easier when working in dirt. It may also make it easier for ag tractors to climb out of furrows and such when running with the tires in the furrow.

Any narrow front tractor -- the old tricycle style -- has it to the extreme.
