Tires Frozen tires

I went out to the barn today and noticed the lwas listed to one side. The right rear tire was flat, and there appeared to be fluid that had leaked out. Do I have to take the tractor back in to the dealer to refill the fluid? Can I put new fluid in? Should I simply air it back up? I would rather avoid a trip to the dealer for cost purposes, but I am willing if that is best.

You can put air in the tire, but that isn't going to fix what caused the fluid to leak out. You probably picked up a nail or some other sharp object that needs to be repaired first. You can get the tool to put the fluid back into the tire at NAPA, but you first need to know what it was filled with first. I suggest that you talk to the selling dealer for advise if he is local. If not, try to find a tire shop that does tractor tires and can also fill the tire for you. You also mentioned frozen tires, but I have no idea as to what that is about.. Were the tires filled with plain water and one of them froze???

Well I went out to the barn and looked things over. I thought the fluid had frozen and that burst the bead or the valave stem, but I cannot tell at this point if my suppositions were correct. What I do know is that the valce stem leaks fluid terribly and will not allow the tire to keep air or fluid. I think I may have unseated it while working last weekend. In any event, the tire company is coming out next week to refill the tire and repair the stem. thanks for the advice.

If you loose enough air pressure your valve stem will leak. Make sure you grip the stem with a pair of pliers before you apply pressure on it with a air nozzle. Otherwise you will push your stem into the tire.
