After replacing injectors $$$$in my truck, the shop advised me to use Stanadyne Lubrication Formula.
Anyone up North that has experienced a gelled diesel due to poor winter blend fuel might tend to lean towards the additive camp. I blend my own #1 and #2 50% at the off-road pump so I know for a fact I'm getting true winter blend. Then I also add a winter anti-gel/cetane booster so I know for a fact on a zero degree day I won't have trouble plowing snow. I did my stint with a tarp and torpedo heater trying to thaw a gelled tractor once, never again. 4 ounces of prevention is way easier![]()
