zogman, There is an in line filter screen in the fitting connecting to the injection pump on my tractor. If yours has this screen the tractor may act up until the screen is cleaned. I wasn't thinking about that the other day. I found threads in the in line filter and my sediment bowl screen before I found the rag in the tank. I think yours is ok. kidney

Thanks for the response Kidney, I did clean the thimble screen at the primer pump and changed the fuel filter which had a pile of rust deposit in the bottom. I have flushed from the tank to the actual injection pump and I haven't seen any threads so far but I may borrow a borescope from work to make sure. One of the benifits of working around aircraft!
