I have a 2016 1533 shuttle (if that makes diff). I wanted to check or drain any water that may be in fuel filter, but can't find any way to do it. Do you have to remove filter or is there something I'm missing. Waiting on book from Mahindra but from reading may take forever
Thanks.

If the water in fuel sensor is at the bottom, you unplug the sensor and back it off a little holding a pan underneath... When clear fuel comes out, tighten it and plug it back in... :)

There is a moisture sensor in the bottom of the 2nd filter where it doesn't do much good as it's up high and after the 1st filter. There is a drain in the bottom of the first filter lower down which is the low point in the fuel system. You can open up and drain out any moisture or sediment there. If it were me, I'd start there. It's either an 8 or 10mm bolt in the bottom of the bowl that sits a bit off center. Drain a bit into a clear container, then look for water in the bottom. Close the drain after collecting your sample or it will drain the contents of your fuel tank.
