No warranty but I think it might be 7mm, I believe quite a few have used 1/4".

Does your whinging? noise change when you activate the hydraulics? That is my first guess.

Yea I think it could be the hydraulics as the fluid is thick. Is it worse when it's cold like cold outside.

Sounds like hydraulics. Just let her idle 'till it warms up a bit or change to a lighter oil...............Mike

is either 6 or 7mm.
Its not the end of the world if u use "standard" size line.. just MAKE SURE its sealed properly.

I use SAE size. And from what i remember it was 1/4 . That spring sheath, if yours still has it, would not fit over it, or at least i dont think it did as i didnt put it back on. Just tighten your hose clamps up and it will be good, there is not much pressure on that line, just what the gravity from the fuel makes. Its not optimal but it works. Mine has been this way for i think 2 years and not a drip.

I have used 1/4 SAE fuel line on both my tractors with no problems, and use tiny hose clamps on them too. As for the whinging noise, I agree it sounds like the hydraulics, either thick oil due to being cold outside, or maybe your hydraulic filter is getting plugged up too. If you don't know how old that fluid is, it wouldn't be a bad idea to see if you can get a small sample out and see how clear it looks and consider doing a fluid change and clean your filter.

Whining Sounds Hyd.. I'd drain it and pull and check the filter screen and see if it's clean. If it's dirty clean it and replace the fluid. Use a clean bucket to drain the fluid into and if it's clean and the filter was clean pour it back in and use it. I have a feeling it's going to be milky and the screens dirty. Esp. the last 1/2 gallon or so of fluid.
