I just got my tractor back from being repaired at the dealer. They had to replace the hydraulic pump to fix a horrible screeching noise it was making (that's a whole other story...) Anyway, when I got it back, a few things seemed to be out of place. Most notably was a fuel line that was stretched under the seat. When flipping the seat forward and then returning it to its normal position, the catches get caught on the line. I am certain that is not a good thing, as it will eventually tear the line open. I don't even remember it being there in the first place. Does this look abnormal to anyone (see attachment)? Is it supposed to be tied up somewhere or routed some other way?

Thanks...

I would say that the tech who worked on your machine got a tad lazy...I'll look at mine tomorrow to see if I can see the routing.

Maybe make a hard copy of pic bill and swing by dealer and look at another bx25. If dealers no hose get him over and point out and have him fix/talk to tech. Course hope close by and not 200 klicks away

Yeah, that's probably what I'll need to do. I simply don't have a frame of reference to compare it against. The dealer is [inconveniently] only open when I am at work, so I'll have to leave a little early some day this week. The tech definitely messed up somewhere along the line. Also notice the wire that got crushed by the seat spring in the lower right of the picture! I won't even go into the five times it had to go to the dealer in the first 50 hours of its life... I am still confident that I bought a quality piece of equipment, but my experience so far is starting to wear down my confidence. :(

I checked mine today and the fuel line is not on top like yours is. I would say that is incorrect.

Sorry to hear about your problems and best of luck!

That's what I thought, unfortunately. Looks like trip #6 is in order! Thanks for checking...

That fuel line should be under the fender, there are two small pegs that it goes around to hold the line in place. ROPS and fenders need to be removed to properly place it.
