Fuel prices in your area? -Feb. '08

$3.62 gallon of diesel $3.15 gas Watched them raise prices twice at same store yesterday!!!!

Drove into work yesterday and the price of diesel was $3.42.

Drove home same day and price of diesel is $3.72....

Gas is $3.35 here in northern NY but diesel is over $4.00 in town. Not sure why it's so high except the owner claims he doesn't sell enough to get a good wholesale price.

I think I'm going to burn fuel oil in the summer. I can't afford the current price and don't travel on the road anyway.

And I thought it was bad here, where our regular gas just jumped to $2.959 and on road diesel to $3.359.

I was fueled up my VW tdi Passat Wagon last week, $74.25. When I went into pay I remarked to the station attendant that "$100 will get you a pizza and a full tank of fuel." She replied that she was supprised that my car took more to fill up than her Rendezvou. Her fill up is only $62.00. I said that for that $74.25 I had driven 897 miles, how far will a full tank of fuel take you in your Rendezvou? She said, " I don't know I just fill it up and drive it. My boyfriend figured out the mileage once, but I don't know what it was."
Giving her the benifit of the doubt........her $62.00 would have taken me approximately 775 miles, and I doubt that she even goes 500 miles on the same $62.00 in her Rendezvou. Boy, that diesel fuel sure cost a lot more than gas!

Here in Ireland... 1 US gal (3.78 litres) road diesel = $6.61usd (€4.46euro).

Guess its not as bad here as I thought.

Central California Foothills: Diesel $3.79 OOUUUCCCHHHHHYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!

Where abouts in Central foothills are ya? I go up there all the time and last week diesel was $3.299 at a Chevron place off hwy 65. Hate to see what it's at this weekend. Sure was glad to get a brand new diesel truck, but now they can really screw me.
What a rip off!
