I was still a teenager living at home in Ark. at the time so I don't recall any Texas "anti-yankee" slogans or sentiment. I do remember waiting in line to get gas, though. Ah, the good old days! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I believe you're talking about 1974. I had one of the smallest Winnebagos with a 40 gallon gas tank and lots of stations had a 10 gallon limit.

Boy, do I. Told somebody the other day that the 70's can best be described by one word: big. Big cars, big shoes, big ties, big hair, big gas lines. If it was 70's, it was big. LOL

Price on diesel just dropped .10 cents . Its only $1.899 a gallon now. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Diesel is now around $1.749 now in southern NH, right around the middle of the gas price range.

I was out and around in Dallas and several northern suburbs yesterday and noticed regular gas prices from $1.399 to $1.479 (mostly $1.439 to $1.459) and diesel prices from $1.479 to $1.579.
