Yes. You can reach in with your finger and feel for a metal part. You can push it against slight spring pressure and it will move in away from the hole, then come back as you release pressure. You can use a tool of some sort if you like. I just use my finger.

The tractor started right up with the solenoid removed

You need them for picking your nose, among other things... lol
