My wife is a lockpicker... No lock is safe in any reasonable sense, some just take a bit longer than others. Most under $20-30 are under 60 seconds, most under 15-20. My friends tweenage daughter can pop any cheap house lock with just a hairpin & her fingernail in under 15 seconds. Fun & disturbing to watch.

Generally it's a moot point as bolt cutters take about 5 seconds. Criminals dont care about damaging your stuff & just go for the fast guaranteed option.

For sure!
At my daughter's place they simply kicked in the door damaging it as well as the door frame.
Also tore up the flooring to drag out the clothes dryer.
In the kitchen they badly scratched the floor to remove the range.
Cupboard doors also got the treatment.
Her garage door also got the same treatment.

Fortunately she was well insured and made out OK.
Being a CPA and under their group policy the settlement procedure was relatively painless and very fast.
In fact they responded within 6 hours to secure her place and install new locks.
