Fuel Tanks

I'm currently looking to purchase a fuel storage tank that is 250 gallons above ground. The tank comes with a manual pump and has been used as a gasoline storage tank. I would like to use this tank as a diesel storage tank but am a little uncertain as to if this would work. If anyone has some incite it would greatly be appreciated.

While the tank would certainly work to hold the diesel I would check the pump to see if it is compatable with diesel. If you use bio diesel there are more pump compatability issues.

Should work just fine. I would check for rust inside but other than that it ought to work good.

I would only add to make sure that the tank has been completely emptied. No residual fuel.

I agree but I'd ditch the manual pump and replace it with an Elect 12 volt .
140 bucks over the life time of tractor ownership shouldn't break the bank for anybody.
