is there real value in getting that first service done by the dealer?
Hiya Cheese - I was all set with a smart-a$$ answer - "Yes, there's a lot of value in it - for the dealer" - but it's Christmas time, so I gave you a pass. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
It's really pretty easy to do those services yourself, and I always like to keep my tractor out of my dealer's clutches anyway. They've never seen it since their last glimpse of my taillights as I pulled out of their lot with it, and I have a feeling they never will. If you do it yourself, you'll save $$ and know that it's done right with the exact fluids you want. Plus, you get to "bond" with your tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I'm going to post in your other thread about whether or not to use synths in your hydro. I would say definitely "yes". I wouldn't put UDT in a Kubota hydro. Either SUDT or Skypup's Amsoil 5w-40 - nothing else.
