A buddy of mine came over yesterday in his helicopter and took me up for some aerial photography. We are buying 24 acres from my grandmother and hope to build in the spring. The green lines roughly show the property lines. The box is the proposed house position.

That looks like a real pretty little stream running through the property, and your driveway looks like it will run alongside. I'm envious - I love little streams, but we don't see many of them in South Florida.

Every few years that little stream can get pretty wicked when you have 3-4 days of solid rain. I have literally built that driveway through the woods and still have a couple more feet of elevation to put in.

Looks like a wonderful spot for a home. I'll bet there is all kinds of wildlife living there with you. And with the stream you can add a pond later if you choose to do so. Good luck to you.

Awesome piece of property. 24 acres of FLAT land is almost unheard of around here. Heck, ONE flat acre is hard to come by! Best of luck with your home building project.

I have lived here all my life and I have never been to the dragway. I have heard it several times. I will be about 15 miles west of it.
