also guys open up those night pics with a photo editor and play with brightness and contrast controls to define objects better.

Also might be useful to catch those mailbox smashing animals!

Most mailbox smashing animals are nocturnal. The flash would give away the presence of a camera. Is the expense of the infrared type worth the risk?

Matt,

I still haven't been able to see what's in some of your pics. I'm sure there's something there, it's just not coming out to me.

Here area few more pics from my camera.

First picture is of a nice boar that I recognize. Opening day of deer season, we just about walked up on him. We backed off and went around him, only to run into him again. He walked past us as we sat there watching a few deer. Then later in the morning, and after Steph had missed a buck, we saw him at this feeder eating corn. She was gonna shoot him, but he walked off as we were getting into position. He didn't act like he was spooked because he was so casualy about leaving.

Second picture is of me on my small tractor. I'm pulling my trailer with a few bales of hay on it that I was gonna use for a hay ride on Christmas Eve. Since that didn't happen, I'm using it to haul the kids around. If you look close, you can see my son in it. We were putting more corn in the feeders and just sort of goofing off.

Third picture shows a small hog. It's kind of hidden behind a branch in the middle of the picture.

Fourth picture shows me feeder going off and the corn flying out from it. Kind of a unique picture!!

Eddie

Looks like a beehive that fell outta the tree on the right. Can't really see what would have set it off...

Did anybody notice the times it's catching the hogs? Three days in a row, it's taken a picture of a hog around 5:30 am!! Then there's the picture of the feeder going off a few minutes later.

The feeder is a cheap Moultre that has a photo cell that goes off at first light and last light. I'm guessing that it's barely light out at 5:30 am and that's causing the feeder to go off. I'm also thinking that in the next day or so, Steph and I are gonna get up pretty early and watch for one of them.

The lens on the Stelth cam sets back into the housing by a 1/2 inch and is not much bigger then a drop of water . I have the cam set to take three pictues about 5 seconds apart . In picture 1 below that was take 5 seconds before picture 2 that you enhansed, and no object appers . I also have one of it flying but it didn't turn out to good . I get alot of shinning eyes like the photo #3 . If it's is a drop of water I can recreate that effect and see if show as a black dot with white around it. Eddie the flash on your camara seems to be much better and goes further out & your picture quility is great , you must have gotten an expensive cam . I'm going to set the cam back in this same area and see if I can catch a shot and identify it onece and forall .

I brightened up that first picture and found irrefutable evidence that you have a snipe flying around:eek:
