I'm way out in the country so there is no code enforcement per se. Since I work out here alone, I'm not exposed to a lot of the trades expert advice. And I hate to waste a guy's time who's trying to make a living with questions when I have no intention of hiring him. On the forums, it's more of a volunteer situation. And if I become a PITA, people can ignore me!
Thanks for the tips guys. Can't wait to get home and tear that inner wall out to see exactly what I'm working with.
