(removed) is a smart cookie. If everyone would accept that he's a Cajun on both sides entertaining us with his dialect (possibly punched up) we'd might have fewer threads closed or deleted.
But what kind of cookie and I cant understand Cajun, to spicy...........

(removed),
After you got me more interested in Cajuns than I've been since my trip to New Orleans in the 60s, I did a little reading and found that there's a sizeable population of French Acadians in Maine. I guess you consider them Cajun? If you're interested the following link might work. If it doesn't work, I found it by searching Cajuns in Maine. There are other articles too.

Interesting read. While back ranonto fellow from place called Millekniocket or some such. I think to get there you go about 50 miles from where God left off and let nature run wild. Once we get able to talk to eachother had good conversation on how they do up der..

Sorta wonder did dey just come across river in winter on de ice or what. Good people wid good attitude.

Always question writeups like dat. Pretty much know somebody come to town wid notebook and think people gonna be impressed enough to tell stories. Puts me in mind of old book called I rode With Geronimo supposed to be written by Apache who grew up in Carlile Government School. Book sure not written by Apache.

There is a local guy who has a few tree trucks and they chip everything, then sell mulch by the semi truck load.
They got the contract when the power company was clearing the right of way for the railroad and filled a good sized parking lot with trees, then ran them through a tub grinder and then they ground it into mulch.

Saw one of their new chippers, it will take a 16" tree trunk and turn it into chips.
