I used Sherwin Williams tile clad epoxy in a auto shop holds up the best. The clear sealant will have to be stripped or the epoxy will lift in time. Awesome looking shop hope you enjoy

Great looking barn, and beautiful Rottweiler. Nice job.
Coming in on the late side but the shop is really awesome...HATS OFF TO YOU .. putting a new farm together with all out building built to 1800 means & methods having a blast .. out here near Williamsburg, VA and have a lot of old structures to review for my projects. looks like you had some craftsmen to help build the shop ...The floor - after you strip the clear coat - just use some meritic acid ( rinse off real good ) to get a good deep cleaning and your epoxy will bond good ... i use a lot of epoxy in my commercial buildings.

If you can please send me a pic of the front and back of yo house i like the roof ridge design. Why is the coop 30ft off the ground...

I built the one coop off of the ground so I can use the bottom as a pen if I need to keep them apart or if I just don' want to let them free range, I didn't want a big pen in that area. I am holding off on Barn because I may buy property on other side of County Road from me, I would then put a barn there and use that land for Pasture.

You could do the New England thing and build them close together with an "ell" connecting them?

"ell" ?

Oops, a regional term for a shed or structure that merely connects a house to a shed or barn. Think humongous "breezeway" with walls. That way, you don't have to go out in the snow during the winter. You go from the house to the shed to the ell to the barn. That's why all those old New England farms look huge--the ell is confused with living space.

Here's the first photo that I came to on the NET and it's not great because it incorporates a modern garage. Plus, the "ell" was turned into a porch or living space. Usually an ell stays as an open shed or garage. Just an FYI thought.
