6 inches of rain in the last 4 or 5 days finally broke our drought, so the gardens are taking off now. I know you guys down south think we're slow, but now that it stays light until 9 PM, the gardens grow very fast.

Looks nice, wish I could have open gardens, but even with a 7 foot tall fence on raised beds, the critters keep trying to break in.
Tomatoes look nice and tall, should give you a good crop soon.

Ours is doing good so far. We've been trying to keep the dogs out because the love to dig in the soft dirt, so this year my goal was to get it fenced to keep them out. We're also laying mulch down to cut down on weeds and mud. Lowes has sacks on sale all the time for $2 each, so we buy a couple pallets every time it's on sale. I'm at 6 pallets so far. I also found some really nice T post type sprinklers that work really good!!! One at each end of the garden, on top of a t post, covers the entire garden. This has been a huge improvement over any other method that we've tried.
Not the best picture. My wife wants me to get some from the top of the house, but she also wants me to wait until we have all the mulch down. This was a picture of the rain, but it's also the best picture of the garden that I have so far. We have 24 raised bed with over 100 tomato plants. Unfortunately, we only have about 40 tomato cages, so that's been a surprise. Used to be able to get them everywhere, now the only ones we can find are super expensive.

The dog house is a legacy item. When we bought the place, this was a fenced dog run with dog house. We turned it into a garden because we are overrun with deer. My wife's dog would freak out if left outside for any extended period of time.
