As far as I know, the only CUTs currently available with a gas engine are the Cub Cadet 5254 and the Simplicity Legacy XL. Both are sub-compacts, I don't know if anyone on the boards has one.
Forum member "billp" has a Cub Cadet 5252 (gas powered) sub-CUT with a FEL and seems to be very happy with it. I'm sure he would be happy to share his thoughts on gas powered CUTs.
I have a late 70's International Harvestor tractor loader with a 4 cylinder gas engine. It is 2WD, hydrostatic, 50PTO HP, full cab, 3/4 yard bucket, 3pt with draft control, loaded tires and is strong enough to knock a house down. It weighs close to 8000 pounds. I bought it used and am very satisfied with it.
The three small Power Trac models (click here for their website) are gas powered similar to large lawn and garden tractors with Kohler and Robin engines(may be all Robin now, not sure). They have 12 models, so that must mean that the other 9 models are diesel. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif We are extremely satisfied with our model PT425. It is a real workhorse. Check out the Power Trac Forum by clicking here if you are interested. Also, you can click on my little animated tractor icon and that will take you to my personal website where there are lots of pictures and movies of our Power Trac PT425 in action. Check it out. It is fun to watch in motion. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
