I wanted to buy from a American company. As it turns out, the JD dealers close to me are not dependable and i don't care to do business with them. Taking the delivery process into consideration, i doubt that service or warranty visits would be much better. I tried....

Just want to thank all you guys for your time in contributing to this thread and for all the tips and reply's. Much appreciated.

Hey Pete. This was a fun ride or all of us. Kabota makes a great machine. Good luck with it. I think you made a good choice not taking the X540.

Anyway use you new machine in good health an have lots of fun.

Thanks rboss. JD's are quite expensive, no doubt about it. I ended up getting more for the money in the GR2120. Bought 2 tractors from Kubota (same dealer i bought the mower from). Both where trouble free with great dealer service all around . I know it will be prepped right. But i will check fluids anyway when they deliver it. It's in my nature.

You can't just end it by, 'I got a kubota GR2120' and leave it like that lol :dance1:

So a few years on how is the Kubota living up to your expectations?
Would you rebut one?.?
Any problems ever with it?

I am thinking of getting the GR2120 myself?so I would love the feedback!!!!!
