As you may remember, I wasn't thrilled with my gator blade purchase this summer. The cut quality was inferior to the stock blades & they didn't slice the grass up any extra.
For the heck of it, I re-mounted them this fall to see how they'd do in the leaves. My leaf blower is jealous. They shred the leaves into a fine dust. I do have to make two passes (forwards & reverse) due to the rear discharge on the deck. I think with a baffle on the rear of the deck, It would only take one pass.
I was planning to take some pics, but old man winter has beat me to the punch (first snow right now). I think it will melt next week & I can snap a picture.
Just thought I'd share my experience. Most importantly, wife is thrilled not to be dragging tarps full of leaves to the compost pile. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
