The RANGER is an unbelievable machine for off-road, rugged terrain. It is unstoppable machine. It is true 4WD...all 4 wheels get traction, ground clearance is over 11", independant suspension makes a soft ride over harsh washouts, full skid plate underneath...the whole underbody is designed to slide over obstacles and not to get hung up. 2" receiver for towing up to 1750lbs. It can traverse through streams and water up to 28" and seats 3 across. It will go where-ever an ATV can go as long as the trail is 60" wide. The bed is plastic and will not dent and can be tilted from either side with a release handle. I think most other UTVs are made for running around the farm or ranch, but the RANGER will take you anywhere you point it. I wanted an RTV bad and thought about the Mule...but when I checked out the RANGER, I knew it would be the best choice for my property needs. I have some rugged ledgestone and wet areas that requires ATV-like abilities...the RANGER fir the bill for me. No problems with it either! I would buy Polaris anyday...read the other forums...all the makes have their problems. Hats off to RTVs and Mules...great machines...pick one that meets your needs. RTVs have HST and power steering...Mules have belt drive. HST is nice and durable...expensive to fix if you have to fix it...the Mule and RANGER have belt drive...easy fix when it goes out...no big deal. No matter what you get, plan on extra $$$ for accessories.
