Tommy is correct about the Mudlites rubbing in the 27" size--if one does not apply lift. My XUV has 28" Mudlites and a 1.5 inch lift and they do not rub with that. I also do not run as wide a tire in front as in back, which helps. I should also mention there was a post earlier in the thread discussing the ITP tires not seating well to the rims. I run SG rims on mine and had one of my four tires not seal well, causing a slow leak. Since I park my machine in the garage and will use it in spurts this problem was easily noted as the Gator would sometimes sit several days between uses. I took it to a tire place, they remounted and viola, no problems since. All four of the tires on my old XUV gas (the same ones) seated fine.

so you have Mudlite 28" on a 620i or 850?...i have 2" lift on the front....how do they handle a load?...is it more tippy?...i use it the most haulin' firewood up and down hills and haulers....i have read that Maxxis Zilla 26" are liter than Mudlites 26"?....i gonin' with aluminum rims too.....trying to get the lightest tire and wheel combo plus good haulin' and traction....don't want to suck all the power out of it...

the best thing about the 589's and mudlites is they are made out of the same hard rubber . my local atv shop has them zillas in stock along with a few other brands of tires if your gonna be doing alot of hauling up hill i would go with the 589!! why you ask well the 589 has a solid lug and it's hard as a rock if you walk up to the tire and try to bend the lug it won't bend now the mudlites they are made of the same rubber but their only down fall is they have the indentions cutout at the top of the lugs and to me it makes the lugs weaker you can bend the lugs on a mudlite tire now zillas they are the worst they will bend alot they are a good mud tire but thats it if your hauling a load in a xuv and spin them tires going up hill i don't think they would last to long . to me it would be a tossup between the mulites and the 589's but if it was me i would go with the 589's . i spin the 27's pretty goon with my old 04 hpx so the xuv shouldn't have s problem with some 26"s with aluminum rims i have the old delta metal rims. i can take some pictures of my 589's that are on my hpx and show you just how much wear they have after almost 5 years of hauling a constant 800lbs in the bed everyday on the pavement the front tires have took the brunt of the wear because of the pavement and the weight but if it would be just riding in the dirt they wouldn't have any wear at all infact the rear tires still have 50%or more of their tread left they are some hard tires to wear out .
