Using the dollies is a great idea. Harbor Freight has some cheap moving dollies that I picked up for when I drop my snowthrower and adapter. No more dragging it around.

Perhaps a lot of others have figured this out and it's nothing new-- just new to me!

The main advantage I see is that only ONE joystick control/movement is needed for install or remove (and no tractor forward/reverse), and, with the lower pins in their sockets, the hydraulic lines are closer which makes for far easier connection. (You can probably tell I really fought with those hydraulic lines before....:laughing:)

Maybe this summer I can figure a neat trick for the BH as well-- taking off is easy, but lining everything up to go back on can be a challenge for me.

Thanks for the tips for removing FEL. As a new owner of a GC2400, I haven't actually tried taking the thing off yet, but this certainly seems like a good idea. I also very much appreciate you taking the time to lay it out, step by step, with pictures.
