Massey 2310
GC 2310 issues/solutions so far after one year of use (100 hrs);

Hit the corner of the house with an outrigger. Wake up and pay attention!
Flat rear tire, leaky rim weld. Dealer swapped me one off a new tractor.
Flat front tire, leaking around the bead. Bought a tube and installed it.
Blinker switch. Replaced under warranty.
Steering wheel bushings. Replaced under warranty, try not to use the steering wheel as a grab bar.
Contaminated Hydraulic oil. Trim vent tube so it won't suck up water.
Can't get enough seat time. Create more projects.

The dealership has been awesome! I hope it continues after the warranty lapses.

Is this what I get to look forward to with my GC2410?!

OK, here's mine after one year & 89 hrs:

Broke yellow warning light on corner of house (wake up & pay attention!)
Broke it again, same light/same place (@#%#$^$%!) Repaired myself both times-- CyA glue, styrene cement, epoxy
Found leak on BH hydraulic controls- repaired myself (tightened fitting)
Learned how to replace shearpins on snowblower:D:D
Added temp gauge, purchased Bro-Tek mechanical thumb (not on yet...)
Added M-F block heater ($$ but fits perfectly)

Other than "stoopid" stuff, no problems!

Just thought I'd chime in:rolleyes:

Broke light off house with canopy overhang
Leaking quick disconnect (dealer gave under warranty) I replaced it
Flat rear tire, bad rim seal. Tire Warehouse fixed for $5.00
Many shearpins last year (this year I put stakes down the driveway)
Paid for 50 hour service (should have done myself)
Thoroughly enjoy owning it!

Dang! I left out the shearpins! Let's just say, several. But that's an operator problem.
I haven't broken an orange light yet, but I've abused them a bit. Nice to know they glue back together, I hear they are crazy money.
What's the source (and part number) for that temp gauge? I'll be wanting one of those soon.

Actually I'm real happy with the performance so far.
Rear flat was a factory defect, the dealer made it good right on the spot.
Front flat, I think I rolled the bead on a rock. Once I decided it needed a tube, it was Saturday night and there was a storm due in. I called one of the dealership partners, he went out of his way to get me a tube that night so I could be ready for the next day. Tires, by the way, are not warranteed. They're covered by the tire manufacturer. Dealership doesn't try to get the bead to seat once they've unsealed, just put a tube in it and be done. I did it myself, and it was quite the wrestling match.
When the left blinker quit doing it's thing, I didn't care. Not worth a trip to the dealer, warranty or not. When I brought it in for the cab install I mentioned it and they replaced the switch.
While it was in for the cab install the mechanic discovered the steering wheel problem. I didn't even know it had an issue. They fixed it under warranty, too. Since then I've read on here that if you grab the steering wheel and hoist yourself onto the machine it causes that bushing to fail. I'm pretty sure that has been my mount/dismount technique since day one.
The hydraulic oil contamination is a design flaw. But it's an easy fix. The Hydro Trans vent tube is a loop of rubber hose that sits too close to an angle iron structural member. When the trans cools, the submerged end of the hose sucks up a little sip of water. Trim the hose, problem solved.

I love my tractor!

JMynes-- I just got a cheap "leftover" automotive gauge-- there's a good thread on that, so I won't take up space here, but I would advise a marine gauge-- mine isn't sealed very well, so it gets moisture inside the glass. Oh, well- ya gets what ya pays for! (It was only 10 bucks on a closeout, figured it was worth a shot.)

At least they're easy to replace. I popped one the first time I used the SB and didn't even know it until I saw the snow piling up on one side of the auger. Haven't popped one since.

After 3+ yrs and 450 hrs, only problem was shelling front pinion and ring gear, defective material, no charge for materials, was out of warranty for 2yrs, I did the labor myself.
This was not the dealer I had purchased the tractor from as they had gone out of business.
Just good customer relations and extending warranty for obvious factory defect!
