My pedal acts different when I leave the parking brake on.

What you say?!! You gotta speak up, I can't hear you...I've been on my tractor all day! :D

No, it's not the parking brake lol. But that whine seemed to subside when I was working that bad boy today, or maybe I just noticed it less, dunno.

Hey guys, appreciate all the info about the levers and all that!

What did this end up being caused by?

I dunno, it's still there, I'll just chalk it up as normal I guess. Why, yours does that too?

Every once in a while my hydro just sounds and feels different for whatever reason. Most times it's normal, quiet, and smooth but occasionally it just starts to feel grainy and I tend to notice more noise of some kind-akin to the groaning you mentioned.

No idea why. Also, sometimes it isn't quite as strong as it is other times. For example, it will usually eat and break traction no matter what I'm attached to or doing. Other times it just peters out and feels weaker. Temperamental, for sure.

Yeh mine does that too sometimes, I think a lot of that has to do with how warmed up the hydro juice is, but sometimes it momentarily gets less gutsy even when I've been running her for a while.

As for the whine or groan or whatever, the tractor is very smooth and quiet when reversing. But when initially going forward, it groans and "feels" like something is sort of restricting it, almost like the brake is on. The brake doesn't seem to be catching though, the tractor rolls down slopes when I'm not pressing the pedal, and the wheels turn freely when in neutral. The groan does quiet down and the tractor motion smooths out as I pick up speed, but at that point the transmission itself just kinda sounds louder than I'd like. Maybe that's just normal as well...I'm getting various input about that. My only frame of reference is my craftsman garden tractor with hst, but alls I could say is that the gt doesn't do any of that stuff.

Another thing I notice is 2 of the hydro lines going to the backhoe (the ones you connect together to complete the circuit when you dismount the backhoe) get very hot, again dunno if that's normal, maybe somebody could clear that up for me.

My backhoe lines get very hot, too. They've been hot enough to almost burn me when I grabbed them like a moron after using it for a few hours.

If you park your tractor in neutral, can you move it by hand easily? What about when its parked in either range? With engine running or not?

Yeh, the wheels turn easy in neutral...I tested that by jacking up the tractor on the bucket and stabilizers and turning the wheels by hand. And like I said, the tractor will roll down a hill when in gear if I'm not pressing the pedal, so all that's normal.
