Might not want to pay too much attention to my advice. Went to start it today after sitting two days ended up having to crack the injectors to bleed them to get it to start. I give up and am calling the dealer to come pick it up tomorrow

Don’t be surprised if you have a weak fuel pump, my factory pump is a piece of junk, I ordered a Carter 6-8psi for $65 shipped. Way better pump. The dealer wanted $180 for the factory one. Seems to be a fair amount of people that have cold start issues with this tractor, it could very well be the poor quality pump they put on them. It looks like it belongs on a toy or something.

I’m still working on this problem, I bought a fuel pressure/vacuum gauge and have determined the fuel pump is working properly, I’m doing some vacuum testing from the fuel pump to the tank to see if I’m sucking air at the filter housing and back. Within ten minutes of shutdown the injector lines are empty of fuel. I’ll report back when I figure it out. Mike (pumpguysc) has been helping me along, couldn’t have done what have without his expertise.

I recently had similar symptoms on my Case 570. After sitting overnite, it would start then die. Keeping the rpm's up would help at first but then it started dieing when running. Found a replacement mechanical fuel pump on ebay super cheap and it would not prime when working the plunger. Neighbor started checking fuel lines for blockages and found one of the three lines from the sending unit to the tank was blocked. put everything back together and the pump still would not prime. Neighbor suspected my super cheap ebay pump might be faulty so he put the old one back on. Primed quickly and no more problem. Sounds like you are close to finding your problem. Good luck.

I'm close, I bought all new fuel line and clamps, I also bought a good quality Carter fuel pump just in case. It's 95F here the last few days so I took a couple of days off from it but by weeks end I'll find out what ales it. I could very well have a blockage of some kind, collapsed line, filter housing or tank issue etc.
The tractor runs great when it's been started so I think I have a restriction of some kind. My vacuum gauge should tell me were it is if I that's the problem.

Fixed it today.. Two problems..

Had a crack in the return line that connects to the pipe that comes off the injectors, number two, the output port on the fuel tank on the left side was blocked so it was only getting fuel from the right side.. When I took the return line off there was no fuel in it, when I cleared the tank the return line was pouring fuel from the resister in the line so I knew there was a blockage that I cleared. Thanks for all the help, 96F and humid as all get out here, that was a tough one..

Glad to hear it.

Werent you blowing out the lines when you were diagnosing it??
A small air compressor & a spray bottle w/ soapy water would have determined the cause of all your problems..
Glad its fixed.. Happy Tractoring..

I wasn't doing things in the correct order that's for sure Mike. As I said before I never wrenched on a diesel system so it was a learning process for me just to figure out how the complete fuel system works never mind trying to find a needle in a haystack.. I do appreciate your help and testing my injectors so that I could rule that out..

Just before the dealer picked mine up I checked the oil and the oil level was high and had fuel in it. Dealer did a compression test and all was good. They pulled the injectors and the pump and sent them out for testing.
Two of the injectors were leakiing, popping pressure was low on all three. Pump was calibrated and seals replaced. Got it back yesterday and everything seems good
